• Organisational transformation. Orchestrated a year-long organisational transition from Switzerland to Portugal, completing delivery on schedule with zero business disruption and generating meaningful annualised cost savings.
• AI portfolio governance & investment prioritisation. Chair enterprise AI intake for 150+ ideas, orchestrating cross-functional prioritisation and collective investment decisions against business value, security, compliance and architectural fit.
• Engineering platform scale. Direct GitHub and GitHub Copilot strategy, budget and controls for a rollout spanning 300 GitHub users, 700 repositories and 50 teams; launched the first wave for 50 users, progressing to plan toward the 300-user rollout.
• Technology investment strategy. Architected a significant investment case for GitHub rollout, AI-assisted application governance and an AI gateway; lead vendor evaluation and RFP discussions to inform capital allocation and enterprise AI controls.
• Enterprise data control. Redirected vendor-to-vendor data exchanges through enterprise-managed file transfer, restoring visibility and direct access to exchanged files while removing dependence on vendor retrieval.

Applied AI & Operational Efficiency

• AI-enabled operating efficiency. Direct onboarding and incident-triage agents across integration, reducing triage from hours to minutes and supporting the decision to avoid an additional L1 support service, with meaningful annual cost avoidance.
• AI-assisted engineering. Coordinate onboarding of five AI-built applications developed by Ferring users. Architected an AI-assisted workflow for specifications, integration code and documentation, with human validation of specifications and interfaces.

• Directed 20+ engineers across SAP and Informatica; owned roadmap, budget and delivery, and led the shift to cloud-native integration that underpinned the expanded enterprise integration and MDM organisation.

• Built the SAP Cloud Integration practice, aligning architecture, security, people management and automated delivery; standardised integration patterns and Git/Jenkins CI/CD, reducing deployment lead time by 40%.

• Architected SAP BTP and Azure event-driven integrations; standardised Terraform and CI/CD to create a repeatable foundation for enterprise integration delivery.

• Coordinated Portugal’s involvement in a global HR-IT transformation spanning 35+ countries, connecting local requirements with the global programme.
